Discuss scope, architecture and delivery with the people responsible for the project. Explain trade-offs clearly and raise questions early.

Readable code, useful tests and clear documentation are part of delivery. Think about how the software will be operated and changed after launch.
You’ll turn business workflows into maintainable software, making decisions across the interface, API and database. The role combines hands-on development with technical ownership: clarify requirements, explain trade-offs and help bring each release into use.

What you’ll do
- Build accessible React interfaces and reliable Node.js APIs in TypeScript.
- Design data models and queries in PostgreSQL or MongoDB to suit the problem.
- Connect external services and business systems, including background jobs, retries and failure handling.
- Build AI workflows where they provide value, with clear evaluation, safeguards and human review where needed.
- Own changes through code review, testing, deployment and troubleshooting; document the decisions that matter.
What you’ll bring
- Experience delivering and maintaining production applications with TypeScript, Node.js and React.
- Strong API and database fundamentals, with practical depth in PostgreSQL or MongoDB and willingness to work with both.
- Sound judgement around authentication, permissions, validation, performance and automated testing.
- The ability to break an unclear requirement into manageable work and communicate scope and trade-offs.
Useful extras
Experience with LangGraph, LiteLLM, LLM evaluation or retrieval workflows is useful, as is familiarity with Next.js, NestJS, React Native or Flutter. You do not need to have used every tool in our stack.
You’ll take ownership of native iOS features and the engineering decisions behind them. Work across interface design, application architecture, API integration and release preparation, with attention to the details that make an app dependable in everyday use.

What you’ll do
- Build accessible, responsive interfaces for iPhone and iPad using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Design application state, asynchronous work and data flows that remain understandable as the app grows.
- Integrate APIs, local persistence and offline behaviour, handling interruptions and failed requests gracefully.
- Connect device capabilities such as notifications, camera or location when the project needs them.
- Test and profile on real devices, diagnose crashes, and prepare builds for TestFlight and App Store submission.
What you’ll bring
- Experience building, shipping and maintaining production iOS applications in Swift.
- Strong SwiftUI knowledge and confidence with Swift Concurrency, application lifecycle and state management.
- Practical experience with networking, local storage, automated testing, accessibility and performance debugging.
- An understanding of signing, provisioning and the App Store release process.
- The ability to explain technical decisions and work through requirements with designers, backend engineers and the founders.
Useful extras
Experience with Combine, SwiftData or Core Data, UIKit interoperability, CI/CD for iOS, or complex offline synchronisation is useful. React Native or Flutter experience is welcome; this role focuses on native iOS.
